In this body of work, I take on two personas: Milou Deville, a French feminist artist and activist, and Bruce Wu, a Kung Fu movie star who went on to become a painter after his retirement from the film industry. By presenting these two fictional artists' paintings, their unique subjects and life stories, I want to create compelling narratives but also honestly convey my interest in synthesizing distinct styles and conceptual approaches.
